Contact
The address for everything to do with Slowbranch is:
It reaches the people who write the records, not a support desk, so replies are usually a few days rather than a few hours. If your message is about a specific entry, put the entry title in the subject line.
What is useful to send
A correction. If a record states something you know to be wrong, or a date that does not hold in your climate, cite the entry and say what you observed instead. Corrections are the most valuable mail this site gets, and they get made.
A question about a record. Say what your tree is, roughly where it grows (a region is enough), what stage it is at, and what you already tried. A record written in one climate translates better with that context attached.
A note that a link is broken or a page is missing. Include the address you followed.
A licence or reuse request. Say which entry, where it would appear, and whether it will be edited. Text may be quoted with attribution; the ink plates are generated for this site and are not for redistribution.
What will not get an answer
Slowbranch does not run a plant clinic, so a message that consists of a photograph of a sick tree with no information will get a short reply pointing at the relevant technique paper and nothing more. Requests to link to commercial stock, to publish guest posts, or to place advertising in the prose are declined — the site carries no sponsored entries.
Post and takedown
If you believe something on this site reproduces your work or discloses something about you, write to the same address with the address of the page and the reason. It will be looked at and, where the claim holds, the page will be edited or removed.
Postal address
There is no walk-in address. Correspondence is handled by email only; anything sent by post cannot be returned.
